Who's the Mono for?
Beginner: This is the perfect beginner's kite. He reacts fast, is good to act, but has a very friendly character. Also the water relaunch is very easy with the mono. Because of his freeride characteristics he comes very easily upwind and you can use it for the first few years.
Freerider: Yes, the Mono is a very fine freeride kite. Lovely cruising, some jumps here and there. And super good in light weather conditions. So if you have more trouble to get up wind with a little less wind, then the Mono is your friend.
Freestyler hooked in: If you're talking about storms with thick kiteloops, the Mono might not be the perfect kite.
Under normal circumstances and some thick tricks and jumps? No problemo.
Freestyler/Wakestyler hooked out: If this is your thing you might want to watch a C-shape like kite like the Cabrinha FX, GA Pure, Duotone Dice or even Vegas.
Wave rider: This is also very cool on the Mono. He can also be used here. So if you have or are thinking of a directional board, you can take this kite into the waves. The drift properties are fine and it also reacts nice and fast, which is nice in the waves.
Strapless freestyler: You can do this very well, but if you want to do this, check out the Duotone Neo. It is for example also very suitable for this.
Foiler: Here, the Mono is also a king! Because he is so light because he has only 1 strut you can use him with very little wind. But also in the strong wind the little buddies are perfect for foiling. If you have a foil, the Mono is actually a must have!
Now I want the Eurofun story, what kind of kite is it?
Here we go. The mono is a delicious allround freeride/foil kite with only 1 strut. 1 strut?! Yeah, sure. And even though he only has 1 strut, he is very stable, responsive and forgiving. He is very all-round. For example, we use it quite often in our lessons, because it has a very good water relaunch and you can sail it with very little wind. But it's also a very fine freeride kite with which you can jump very well. Also in foiling the Mono really comes out very well. Because he reacts fast and does well with little wind many foilers sail with the Mono. Finally, you can also wave surf with it!
Because the Mono has only 1 strut it is also very light and is often used by people who travel a lot.
So are you a novice kiter, freerider, foiler, wave rider, or kite traveler? The Mono can do it all.
