Duotone Kiteboarding Evo Blue C24 2021
Who is the Duotone Evo for:
Beginner: YES! Despite the Evo at a high level, as with King of the Air, it performs very well, it is also a super kite to start with. It is very predictable and rides and feels very natural. It sails easily upwind and has a very good water relaunch. This is also the reason why we also use the Evo a lot in our own lessons. Furthermore, it is of course pre-eminently the perfect first kite because you can go in all directions and therefore find out for yourself what you like best.
Freerider: YES! Rides easily upwind, jumps easily and has a lot of hangtime. Nice cruising, the occasional big jump and leaving all worries on land while you and your Evo enjoy a beautiful sunset after work. Watch out for those seals!
Freestyler hooked in: High, hard, board offs, kiteloops, he can do it all. One of the reasons the Evo is so popular is because it makes you look good. He jumps very easily with a lot of hangtime, which of course is also great if you just start jumping.
Freestyler / Wakestyler unhooked: Do you want to try a bit to unhook? Of course you can do this with the Evo! It is best to put the line setting on the tips of the kite on the hard setting. But if you sail with boots and especially want to unhook and walk, you might be better off looking at a C-shape-like kite such as the Cabrinha FX, GA Pure, Duotone Dice or even Vegas.
Wave rider: YES! Of course, the Evo will not let you down here either. Set the line tip setting on the kite to soft for even more drift and you are good to go! (if you don't, it will also work) If you really want to catch waves, you better go for a Duotone Neo or Cabrinha Drifter.
Strapless freestyler: YES! of course! But here too the same applies as with the Wave rider.
Foiler: YES! You can certainly go foiling with your Evo. The drift properties help a lot on your foil. If you really only want to go foiling, you might want to go for a Duotone Mono or Neo.
Now I want the Eurofun story, what kind of kite is it:
Well here we go. ALLROUND ALLROUND ALLROUND!
The Evo is what Eurofun call it, "one thing" in the positive sense of the word. It is so versatile that it can be used anywhere. We use it in our kite lessons, but it is also used with the King of the Air.
The Evo is a very friendly kite and that is a feature that is almost always very nice. Whether you are in light weather and can just get upwind where the freestyle kites do it, whether you are pulling kiteloops in a big storm, or slashing big waves. A friendly kite is always nice and welcome.
It is therefore quite simple. Do you not want to commit to 1 discipline within kiting and do you want a kite that "helps" you in all situations without sacrificing performance? Then come and get him.
- Kite bag
What is not included but do I need:
- Bar (preferably a bar of the same brand because of the y-junction otherwise a Duotone Clickbar)
- Want to kite
- 2 nd and 3 rd kite (optional of course, but very nice)
- All-rounder, but also real!
- Also for beginners!
- Easy sailing (sheet and go)
- Very good upwind
- Good depower
- Jumps easily with a lot of hangtime
- Doesn't really specialize in anything
What else do I need to know:
If you buy your kites from us, you must wave if you see one of us on the water!
