If you like speed but don't want to fly uncontrollably over the water, then a freerace sail (and board) is for you. A freerace sail is just a bit more comfortable than a real race sail. The mast trunk is less wide and usually the sail has only two cambers. but that is enough to go faster than a freeride sail and by holding the pressure point through the cambers also sailing a bit more overpowered. A Freerace sail therefore sails a lot more comfortable than a real racing sail.
